This is by far the best Indian restaurant I've ever eaten at. It was SO delicious. Everything was absolutely 10/10 for taste. The service was also absolutely incredible. Will be back here as soon as I can!

Sangam is a staple amongst the Indian community in Austin. We love going there right when it opens because if you get there 15 min after it opens, it ends up being an hour wait on weekends. The ambiance is nice, the restaurant is well decorated and the space now has tvs and projectors. The food is usually very good. My husband without fail orders the veg thali. For the price, the value is unmatched. The filter coffee is a must and the baby corn pepper fry is delicious. The only reason I will knock off one star is the last two times I have gone my dishes haven't been the best. I ordered Pongal and I got some watery rice which is supposed to be the opposite of how thick and rich it should be and the kurma this time was all spice mix, no veggies. Nevertheless we will keep going to Sangam 1X month!

My party of 2 came here on a Thursday night and it was a packed house. It was busy, but we were able to get seated pretty quickly. Everything that we ordered was pretty good and it did not disappoint at all. The masala dosa is similar to crepes and it was freshly made. I loved that it was served with a variety of dipping sauces and it ranged from spicy to non-spicy. I appreciate the options for people who can't eat spicy foods. The chicken butter masala was amazing! It was saucy, buttery, and it had just the right amount of spices in it. It went really well with rice and we definitely doused our garlic naan in it. The veggie samosa was piping hot when it they served it! It was crunchy and packed with potato stuffing. Our server was also super friendly and constantly checked in on us. If you're looking for good Indian food, you must try this place because it will not disappoint!

Delicious South Indian cuisine! I got the masala dosa, a light and crispy crepe stuffed with spiced potato and onion filling, served with a few chutneys on the side. The crepe is made from rice and lentil batter that is fermented overnight, creating a subtle tangy flavor. It also comes with a small ramekin of sambar, a lentil-based vegetable stew. The masala dosa was spicy and savory (though not overly spicy). I'd definitely recommend sharing it, because it's a huge portion.

I really enjoyed the thali lunch special here. You can get it for slightly cheaper on the weekdays and you have your choice of northern or southern Indian style and vege or non-veg. They even have a seafood one that is slightly more. The thali was more than generous with at least 3 different curries, a few dals, an aloo dish, some sort of deep fried okra snack, and a spicy pickled vegetable. You also get many pieces of naan bread and a nice crispy papadum to put on your curries. There's rice too is you need more carbs. Service is quick and efficient. I went with a group from work and we were able to pay separately. The server came back a few times to make sure everything was as expected. They even have a nice free vegetable soup. Water is provided on the table. The only thing that is kind of annoying is that they have several automated robots serving drinks so if you are near the drink area you might get annoyed hearing the robots going by. I know I come from the future - hahaha!

Great as always. The chettinad dishes are my favorite; even if a bit on the Spicy side. The dosas are always fresh - rasa dosa is my favorite. Tried the half tandoori chicken - and it was done near perfectly.

The food here is quite good. Hits all the right marks for Indian food. Savory and well prepared the dishes are portioned just right and you should be able to find something you like from their vast menu. Really enjoyed the Veg sampler as well as the Tikka Masala and the Dosa. Will definitely come back to try some other dishes. Service was friendly and fast.

Food: 5/5 Ambiance: 4.5/5 Service: 5/5 Order is as shown in pictures: Paratha combo Veg biryani Kofta tikka masala Lotus stem starter Paneer vindaloo Chole Bhature Mango Lassi Samosa This was the 3rd time we visited this restaurant. It always lived up to its reputation. Food is the king even if you try vegetarian or non vegetarian dishes. Lotus stem was recommended by the server and it tasted amazing. Smoky taste to the stem and overall a rich and tasty Indo Chinese starter taste. Highly recommended for this restaurant. It's not a regular item but it was listed under specialty for the night. Vindaloo was tasty and spicy just how we expected. Tikka masala with kofta was creamy and delicious. Both the dishes served with a side of rice. Kids loved mango lassi and Chole bhature. Having said that Chole bhature were a bit spicy for kids but perfect for adults. Overall this restaurant is on recommended list of Indian restaurants

If you love the South Indian Tiffin options, Sangam is the place to go. After a busy evening Sangam was the closest Indian place. We opted to dine in. It was around 8.30ish and this place was packed. We waited for around 5 minutes to get a table. Menu - splendid. So many options - appetizers, entrees, tandoori items, biriyani, authentic dishes, tiffins, combos. Loved the options. We ordered Appam with chicken curry and Idiyappam with Mutton Paya! Service was great. Staffs were super cool and friendly. Wait time for the food was around 10 mins. Had mutton paya for the first time in years. Special - really enjoyed it. Flavor was just what I was hoping for! Appam and idiyappam were very soft and fresh. Chicken curry was also quite good. Have to mention the filter coffee. Loved the food and the service. It's a big restaurant, must be really popular from the rush that day! They have maintained it really well. Very clean all the time. Value for money!

It is the best Indian restaurant in the North Austin area. There's a reason why it's always packed. It's a South Indian restaurant and all their South Indian dishes kick it out of the park. Their Biryanis are not Hyderabadi Dum style, yet, they taste delicious. Service is a hit-and-miss here especially because they are full most of the time. Overall, the food is great, service is mediocre (they don't like to give to-go boxes - once a server told me to put different dishes in one to-go box as it would cost him $s for an extra box). Hence reducing one star.
